The Sunday-school kids packed 3 boxes for the Samaritan's Purse (2017). They went to the Philippines this year. 
Twelve people were baptized on  Sunday Sept. 10, 2017. God is so good! 
Sunday-school news: Students that are of the age to be in the Youth Group (age 11 and up) will no longer attend the kids' church class during the service. We want them in the sanctuary service to be involved in worship with us.
Youth group: Pastors Zech & Shayla have some fun events planned.  Meet Sunday morning for breakfast in the Fellowship Hall at 9:30 am. and Wednesday evenings, 6:00 pm at the church. Bring a friend! Check the calendar for last minute updates.

We have a VISITATION MINISTRY called Encouragers. We call or visit folks in our church who would like a visit from their Christian brothers & sisters. We meet on Saturday mornings at 8:00 at Randall's Restaurant in Cottonwood.  Join us if you would like to be involved. Talk to Pastor or Jeanie. 
If you would like to be involved with the children's ministry, contact Jeanie. We need teaching assistants or fill-in while teachers are on vacation. We have 2 categories: little ones in the nursery up to age 3, and Sunday-school age 3 to 11 (Grade 5). Thank you!
Ten people were baptized  in the waters of Oak Creek on July 24, 2016. Praise the  Lord!

July 20, 2014 was a Celebration Sunday! We celebrated becoming a sovereign church under the General Council of the Assemblies of God. Pastor Russ Weaver, the president of the Cowboy Church Fellowship of the Assemblies of God  visit us this Sunday along with  his lovely wife Anna.  We were installed into the Cowboy Church Fellowship of the Assemblies of God! Praise God for his blessings.
